Zedge (NYSE AMERICAN:ZDGE), a leading content platform for smartphone personalization, today announced the beta release of its marketplace, Zedge Premium, on iOS.

In addition to the wallpapers and ringtones Zedge fans already love, Zedge Premium will test Zedge’s users’ appetite for other content, including songs, videos and 3D-augmented reality figures. Zedge Premium is designed to offer artists a powerful new way to promote themselves and their creations to Zedge’s user base, and earn money while doing so. Artists will be able to choose to make their creations available for free, or to "lock" them, and earn money when users unlock them. Users will have a variety of options for unlocking content, such as watching a video ad, purchasing print on demand items such as phone cases and t-shirts, or redeeming Zedge Credits. Users can purchase Zedge Credits in packs, or can earn them by using the app.
